The steam loses pressure as it spins the turbine. It passes over the tubes of the condenser, which contain cool water. As the steam flows through the outside of the condenser tubes, it gives up its heat energy. When enough energy is removed the steam turns back into water. Then the water is pumped back through the reactor to start the heating process again
